Participatory Democracy in an Age of Inequality

چکیده

This article introduces this special issue on Participatory Democracy and Inequality, identifying both the primary claims made by modern iteration of participatory democracy, as well main challenges faced democrats, drawing a range literature, empirical theoretical. Despite these challenges, it finds cause for optimism, based trajectory recent research suggests there might be number potential means addressing problems raised democratic inequality.
